An Investor With Principles
Having worked in various industries from central government to boutique investment banking in senior finance roles; I have been honored to have had interaction with many senior finance professionals. A dialogue I had had with an investor had left me impressed and optimist about life when talking about an investment area, his answer was: "I don't invest in that specific country purely due to human rights reasons"

Post Office - Post Cards - Letters
I personally am strongly against the e-x,y,z of everything from mail to cards.
When I was a teenager, we used to have a tradition within my family, which was sending paper cards to all relatives for the new year. Cards would be bought, written with the best hand writing, with the very positive wishes and posted to all relatives one by one.
What is best is to find those cards in your library years later, read them again. Wishes for new year would be like: "........wish you respect based days of love....."
It is one of those things I hope will not be lost to this dizzying speed of electronic life in everything. Same with newspapers and magazines. Nothing gives the same pleasure as reading from the physical newspaper and magazine itself.

Jane Austen: Sense and Sensibility
A big fan of Jane Austen I am, and one of my favorites her "Sense and Sensibility" book is.
Parabol
A parabol is very useful for analyzing minimization subject; apply it to anything from micro to milimicro; it can help you to find the minimum point after which the curve moves upwards.
On a curve it is not possible to find one point only so you need to have the tangent line through derivatives, which will give you the minimum.
Think about y= xsquare + 2x + 1; the derivative will be 2x + 2 = 0 and the curve will be minimized at the point where it meets the tangent,
which will be for x = -1.

Production
When production has always been part of who you are, you can't give it up. It is like a necessity of your functioning.

Fashion of Mum's Generation
When I used to be a kid, my mum was keeping her suits, dresses she had from her teenage years some of whom she would have photos with. From childhood I liked her style, she always has / had that fashion taste ahead of me, through which she would buy elegant clothes for her daughters and sisters as well.
Wearing from mum's wardrobe is a brilliant choice, you are lucky if you are the same size, something which me and my mum left long years ago and it was only her teeenage years clothes that would fit.
